Monster Island will be installing a partially improvised mural work at the Weisman Art Museum starting Wed. Feb. 20th. The opening will be on Sun. Feb. 24th and we'd love to see everyone there!
The mural piece is a work in response to the themes present in the current show at the Weisman, Paul Shambroom: Picturing Power. Using paper, tape and a range of media, we'll be taking over the Shepard room at the Weisman for 4 days, culminating in a reception Sun. Feel free to stop by any time during museum hours to watch us work and ask questions.
This is MI's first big gig and we're pretty excited about it!
